The VWP or VISA Waiver Program is a program framed by the Government of the US in 2009, to allow travelers to the US from specific countries to enter the country without a VISA. This allows traders, businessmen and other transit passengers from these countries to visit the country for some quick trips. The purpose of the visit is allowed to be transit, travel or a business purpose. The maximum duration of stay in the country under this program is allowed to be a maximum of 90 days under the US Visa Waiver Program.

The ESTA Authority

At present, there are 36 countries, which are covered under this program by Visa Waiver. The authority to modify the list of the countries under this program resides entirely with the US Government. The officials decide for this on the basis of various security measures related to the data control, terrorism threats and issues related to border activity control. The citizens of the country covered under the VWP program need to apply for Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) to enter the US. The ESTA authority holds the right to accept or reject the application on certain grounds, while the applicant cannot challenge the decision of the authorities.

The Procedure for Application

The process to apply ESTA authority is very simple, with an application form online to be filled and to appear for the interview and other biometric scanning process as and when required. During the interview, the authorities check for the documents and the purpose of travel of the applicant. The applicant gets an I-94W form attached to his passport when granted ESTA, which he has to surrender to the desired authorities while his return from the US to his hometown. The authority grant is not the final step, while, the applicant with the ESTA authority is verified by the immigration authorities at the entry to the US and can be denied there. For travelers by air or sea, applicants are advised to apply online at least three days prior to their travel to avoid any delay. The travelers entering the US by land can apply for the same at the border during the travel.

There are a lot of agencies available for the applicants to apply through, while only a few like the Conextions Limited provide genuine and trustworthy services with high chances of approval. They work with the full understanding of the system and the applicant’s needs and frame an application that is rarely rejected. With experience and positive approach, Conextions Limited has gained great fame with a huge client base.
